I will try write in english from now on. Because I have to exercise fore studies outside Sweden.

I tried out to be a werewolf at the try-out exhibit (”The Sneeze”) we had last night at the school. It was hard to know how it looked or feeled from outside. Someone told someone one felt quite uncomfortable in a negative sense while someone is performing without announcing before. Me myself felt that announcing would be wrong, because my piece is just a sculpture with something alive inside – and if I had announced it everyone would be prepared something would show up this particular time, which would have meant they expected something fancy, interessting or special would happen. It would not. It was just the werewolf being a part of the exhibition, being a part of the visitors, being a part of me. An expansion of me, of my own body.

I felt naked. Next time I will be more prepared and being strict to the line not to talk to anyone. Not being a part of the visitors even in that kind of sense.

Laura Hatfield, our curator for the upcoming exhibition gave me some feedback about this non-talking thing, and also said she felt a bit uncomfortable to, but that it wouldn’t necessarily have to be a bad thing, somehow she got this sad feeling and felt empathy for the werewolf-person being so undecent and improper.

So. I learned something. A step towards the interesting but difficult art of performing.
